One evening in March I received an email from a designer looking to showcase her range of original vintage and vintage-inspired hair accessories. I receive these emails quite often and it’s very rare that I feel the pieces would complement our existing collections but i decided to take a peek at the range anyway and gosh I’m glad I did!
Jo Barnes began her love affair with vintage accessories when she made her own bridal bouquet using her grandmother’s pearl bracelet, earrings and brooches all from the 1940s. Jo now creates stunning hair accessories perfect for any vintage loving bride-to-be.
Here at Pearl & Willow we have a small collection of original vintage pieces, all ‘one-offs’ ensuring your piece is completely unique and a larger range of Jo’s vintage-inspired hair accessories. All the pieces are made using only the finest fabrics, feathers, crystals, pearls and vintage jewellery.
Our favourite is the limited edition Flo headpiece which harks back to bygone days when feminine features were celebrated and sparkle was key.
