Polly Edwards' words of wisdom

The Asymmetric headdress is proving popular for 2010 due to the fact that the headdress can be worn with any hairstyle, and particularly compliments brides who have a side parting or asymmetric design on their gown.

Polly Edwards’ 2010 collection features a beautiful array of asymmetric pearl headdresses with Polly believing that headdresses with pearls in their design are often the easiest way to soften a bride’s look and work well with gowns that have lace detailing and organic motifs.

Polly suggests that the detail of an asymmetric piece is worn on the side of your parting or the opposite side of any detailing on your dress. They can also work well with veils. The position of the asymmetric sits flatteringly in front of it when worn and should you choose to remove the veil after the ceremony; the hair piece will remain to compliment your evening look.

Although its hard to choose because we love all the pieces so much, our favourite has to be the Camelia headdress which is made using a selection of shades, pearls and crystals from Swarovski. The Imogen headdress is also a very popular choice and one of our favourites.
